The Old Folks Home

Bama stick your feet out the window - no reason why you have to stink up the whole house. It might chase off some serious predators or mosquitoes even.

Also one of my two beehives survived the winter...

SUPER sad! what happened? Is that normal? (Never had bees..... but I do like honey)

Life's looking up. I still have snow most places, and a lot of it in some places, but the thing that melted the fastest was around the septic tank. It's been clear for about 2 weeks now. Today I saw the start of dandelions in that area!!! Spring is here!

HA! we had spring twice already (stuff started budding)... but now we have snow ... barfs, real time barfs

Also just finished the butterfly quilt for my sister's kids!

Ready to go out in the mail tomorrow. Hope it's "girly" enough.

That screams "super girly, exceedingly cute, and a VERY talented person made me"

Cant sleep. My feet stink
lick them clean...... problem solved!

Did I see that some are starting their gardens? Have to wait a bit here..getting cold at nights again. People always get ahead of themselves here, you would think they would know better. It gets into the 60's in the day and they think they can plant, then it dips down into the 30's at night.

I think I may have posted this before, but I think this looks like it would work pretty good.

Ok, I was right about my candling, I just removed 1 chicken and 1 turkey egg from the bator. Everything else looks great. I also added 3 duck eggs. Hopefully at least 2 will develop. They were in the fridge but I'm not concerned about that (I've hatched fridge eggs before). Girl duck has already thrown one egg out of her nest. I have no idea if she's going to play or not.
So you still have 3 chicken eggs and 5 turkey eggs right?

The butterfly quilt you made it gorgeous your nieces will love it!
