I've read a bit here, not posted much though. Still trying to learn everyone, and see if I might fit in. You seem like a bunch of nice folks, and I've "met" a few of you elsewhere, so I thought maybe I'd join in, if you don't mind?

Haven't done anything special for Halloween in recent years even though it was once my favorite day. Lots of old stories.
Anyway, my family is going to a wedding reception tonight. It is a Halloween themed wedding. Everyone has to come in costume. My daughter decided we would go as the Addams Family. I'm Gomez - duh!.
A couple hours ago I had blondish grey hair and a huge white beard like Santa. After my hairdresser got finished with me he said, "Dude, you have to go rob a bank. No one would ever recognize you.
I now have black slicked back hair, black eyebrows, big black mustache, a cigar and my daughter's about to do my eyelashes with mascara after I gut a couple chickens.

I just saw a picture of the groom. He's going as a skeleton.

My wife and daughter work with the couple. My son used to be the kitchen manager where the groom cooks. I'm the only one that doesn't know the couple.

Not to worry, I have a hunch you will get to know them immediately. Please do we get to see photos of the "Addams family?" What a great idea for a wedding. Be careful with the mascara, it can take some getting used. Don't rub your eyes or cry, the mascara will run and you'll look like a raccoon.

I hope there will be a video.

Mixing holloween with a wedding, I am strongly opposed to.


Handing out balut... DEFINATELY worse than oppossum. Unless the oppossum is alive and rabbid, then I would go for the balut, but NOT eat it.

Nothing fun for Halloween here. Just sitting at camp, having a few adult beverages after deer hunting. Didn't see a darn thing except squirrels Hubby had fried squirrel that he killed earlier in the week ready when I came in. How about that? And tomorrow is his birthday.
