I'm doing this from my phone instead of my pc. Electric co. came by and said they would have the power off for about a half hour on our street. They're fixing something.

That was fast! Power is back on. Had I known it was really going to be this fast I would not have shut down my pc, and tv. I have at least an hour of backup power for them. Usually when they say the power's going to be down for a half hour, it's off a couple hours. My house titillates the senses right now. I lit a maple syrup scented candle in the bathroom, lime pie in the living room, and peach cobbler in the kitchen. It's great walking throughout the house with the different smells. Even the cats cooperated, and didn't bother the candles. I may have to burn them more often. I used to, but I have this one cat.....

It hit 70 today, and will only get to 49 tonight, so I took down all but two of the tarps on the coop. If the acuweather 10 day forecast is anywhere near correct, I have until at least the weekend with good weather. They were happy campers. This week, Dh will get the fence posts in for my electric fence. I found a clear racoon paw print near it today, so we are doing this at a good time.
