BTW what has BYC done to the smilies? I click on them and they don't show up. Also they changed the above icons and I don't know what they mean. What happened to the spell check symbol. WHY do they keep doing this?

I finally figure out how to do something on the site, and BYC insists on making it more difficult to folks who aren't computer literate.

For some reason [control]+[right click] spell check doesn't work on our laptop on BYC, it just says [paste]. Works on all other websites.

I look for the red underline, then move the mouse over the word, press control and then right click the mouse. spelling suggestions will come up. If it do the same thing without holding the control button, I get the paste.

I finally got a chance to get my camera out of the moving box over this weekend. There is a really nice rail trail not far from my apartment. Still waiting for the house in Utah to sell and get DH out here. I am hoping he will be able to come out here for a few days for an interview so we can see each other. It's a bit lonely here without him.

Beautiful photos, as usual, D!! I like this one the best....great focus on the "zillion" petals and cool blurred background. I think I'll make a puzzle of it!!

Here in Northern CA we are having our first heat wave. Today was 102 and it will be a bit warmer each day until Saturday. Saturday is forecast to be 103.

So far the Chooks are doing well with shade, water and my misting system.
