These girls believe in safety in numbers. No way am I going in there to break up broody alley. One broody is one thing. Five flapping birds with rooster just outside is quite the other. Only one has eggs that I know of. The rest may only have one a piece.
This is where some of the hens are laying. The egg in front can be reached if I stretch. The four in back takes a shovel.
