We have bats that come out about dusk and fly around I have
not personally seen them my bf and his son have but they
do not come near us

Had fun yesterday afternoon when I got home. Had time to put out the horse skeleton SCG and I built when she was here.

You ladies keep SERIOUSLY busy!!!!

We have tons of halloween decorations we pulled from the overhead in the garage
once we get things placed I will take many photo's this is James and my
favorite holiday and his Birthday is the 30 th of the month

So is my Dad's. For some years he and my stepmother decided they weren't having birthdays anymore. I started sending him a Halloween card specifying that it absolutely was NOT a birthday card

All of this creepy talk must be contagious--I awoke to a bat flying around in my bedroom. I "collected" it wilt racket ball racket and now have to drop it off at Animal Control to have it tested for rabies--I hope I do not have to get shots now.....

Wow Ron that's terrible. I could not imagine waking up to something like that! Ewwwwww

Chris Mccary has been setting out bat houses on his barns to keep them mosquitos down he say's it helps a lot.
I was thinking of putting some out around here. We always have mosquitos from all the catfish ponds around here.

I have this quilt nearly done. I have to hand sew the binding to the back yet. I also have to embroider the name and info on the back with a angel.

I expected a lot of mosquitos at this house due to the pond behind the barn but we VERY VERY rarely see one. I credit the fish (bullpout and crappie MAYBE??), frogs and insect eating birds like the swallows. I've not seen ANY bats, though the prior owners put a bat house up on the gable end of the barn.

I was just looking into how to build a couple bat houses here. I would probable put them in some of the oak trees in the pasture near the house.

At least you kept it to get it tested. We didn't and then decided later to have the whole family get the shots as a precaution...not fun.
