I don't know how big city dwellers stand it.
...downhill seems to be a theme for you this weekWent out this morning to get feed and other farm supplies at the local farm supply store.
I asked for 3 bags of salt for my arctic ice sheet. The owner asked "do you want salt or calcium chloride?"
I countered with "calcium chloride is a salt."
It went downhill from there.

Latestarter - unfortunately it is true which is why I never married. I have 3 examples -my late father, brother and son. In dating, I'm sure I subconsciously picked men like them . They would start out really nice for first date or two and then turn into the VICTIM when everything I did caused them grief. Picking a restaurant where HE couldn't find a parking place or got into shouting match with another driver.
Another time HE picked a restaurant and then was told he had to wear a tie, and didn't like the ones offered him. He stormed out of the place cussing me.I had learned from previous restaurant not to ever suggest one to him.![]()
I once worked for a male friend who showed dogs. After I loaded up the dog crates(with occupants) on a dolly HE told me to take them to the van. I couldn't budge them( 5' tall and 91 lbs. at the time) A younger person came by and helped me. HE had a fit and said I was pulling "a whipped puppy act," to make HIM look bad.
There weren't many in my life - my age, somewhat older, several years older, all treated me the same. I could list more incidents but, they wouldn't be fit to print here . My sister married a guy just the same as our father.

Maybe next time the guy should ask "calcium or sodium chloride?"
