There has got to be a way to shovel out that vent!Clothes need to dry! Maybe you can put up clothing lines in the basement next to the furnace... it would dry everything quickly and also help with the dry air due to the furnace. (Actually....it is a giant wood stove or something, right?)![]()

Anyway...blows me away that you don't have a second story door. You do have a second story though...right? So... can you just start using a window?
Hung them on the shaker pegs all around my living room, for now. Luckily they're dry this morning.
How worried do I have to be about my house collapsing in all this? We are getting another foot Wednesday.
I am going to try to leave work early today if possible so I can assess the situation in the light and in less of a panic to try to get to the animals to make sure they're not dead.
