Quote: The length actually makes it easier to tow and back... in town or on highway even two lanes.... I can back em up and park em... On the flat.... i backed the trailer UP into its parking spot.thats what spooked me... The truck is a BEAST HAULER... but they gave it a wimpy reverse gear ratio.... I could smell the clutch burning. I hadnt drivin the horse trailer With horse in it in about five years.... no parking break made it an adventure to get the horse loaded. I have NO help...![]()
So a smaller trailer is a good choice for sure. Its got the capacity and foot print i need for future projects. Hay first .... then stall mats and pallet buliding materials. I can work out of the back of the trailer construction wise.
Im buying it tomorrow... then off to register it then to pick up the hay.

I meant to comment on this before, but I was so far back by the time I got to the end I had forgotten.... Why put stall mats on top of the pallets? I know you said so you don't fall through the gaps in the pallets, but why not go with ply board, it's got to be cheaper, and around here, if you need it cut, the store you buy it from will cut it for you for free. Stall mats are expencive and HEAVY, plus, they will still sag in between the slats on the pallets and you won't have a flat floor. Didn't you say you use a walker? Wouldn't a smooth floor be better?
What version of windows do you have?First, subject of the day. My DH can park anything anywhere. loves laughing at me because I can't park anything anywhere. Very irritating. He also makes trailers out of everything to haul anything. Very impressing.

two of the three outbreaks in AL were in backyard flocks. The state inspectors, at least here in WI were no where near any infected facility prior to going to the JennyO plant. My husband pointed out something interesting to me this morning concerning these outbreaks once again in large production poultry factories.
Is there any possibility that the disease is being spread in spite of high bio-hazard operations, by inspectors themselves?
These production facilities are known for their strong bio-hazard rules. Is somebody going from one plant to another like an inspector and somehow something he or she is wearing is slipping through the cracks thus spreading the disease? It's weird that only a small amount of infected flocks are back yard in origin. The majority are farms with tens of thousands of birds on the property, all of them living under bio-hazard precautions. Yet they are seeing outbreaks in these plants.
There is just something strange about this. Yes, there always is the possibility of infection from wild birds/fowl but aren't these facilities pretty breach free as far as being opportunistic to wildlife?
10 of course but it was a batch update. The browser I actually use is Chrome but 10 is loadedWhat version of windows do you have?
