Now we have a flood watch starting tomorrow....no wait, I can't cry, that would add to the mud..........

Problem is, Superchemicalgirl, that I'm running out of bedding but I'm not running out of mud!

Lol...I love the goat information and pics as well. I think I see why my Grandparents always said "NO!" to a baby goat now.

I'm impressed that they can eat the pine needles, Christmas tree and wreath. Ouch! Our llamas will eat the tops of thistles.

Here most of the snow is gone and it feels so hot on the sunny days.

The flies came out the last two days. Where's fall?
We're under a high water level alert. The creek spilled its banks and receded. It spilled again and has receded again.

there's no rain in the near future.

Pyrenees can squeeze through a dime sized hole...almost. Ok, not quite but they're very good at getting through places. Not to be malicious...but they always need to check EVERYTHING out...lol. It's just their nature. Mine haven't been acclimated to the chickens. They were already adults by the time I got the birds. But they're fine with the bunnies and the cats as long as they don't run. Ours don't run. And the bunnies flatten out. It surprising how flat a bunny can make themselves.

You need goats. Constant source of wasted hay!

Sadly, we can go an entire year without seeing 65.

and ditto. I recall building fires in the wood stove on the 4th of July.
