Comfort food for me=Pennsylvania Deutsch Rivel Soup. My dad was Pennsylvania Deutsch and I can remember being little and making this soup for me when I was little and sick. I would eat it when I wouldn't eat anything else. It's simply chicken stock with chopped chicken and a little onion with a crumbled noodle made out of egg, flour salt and pepper that you drop into the boiling chicken stock along with some shredded carrot and simmer until done.:drool

I still make it to this day when I'm not feeling well.

You got it Penny. I'll have to sit and write it out. It's one of those recipes that is filed in my memory and my mom taught to me without written measurements. You know, a handful of this and a pinch of that kind of cooking.
