The Old Folks Home

Ok, all my knowledgeable friends, I need your help with a problem. I need to convince my DH to let me have what I really want for Christmas. A kitty. I really miss having a kitty since we lost our last kitty Mizia to feline Leukemia 2 yrs ago. We took her in after our neighbor and friend passed away. I really want to rescue another kitty. I really really miss having a kitty around. I hadn't brought it up to him for a while but when I did he just wasn't too keen on the idea. I think his objection might be the litter box. He got stuck with that job when I was dxd with Leukemia until my immune system got built back up and again for the entire winter I was stuck in the wheelchair.
Any ideas, suggestions?

Lovely photo! I'm assuming this is you?
Nice to meet you!(officially):frow It's so nice to have a face to the name. :D

Yes this is me. Thank you. It is nice to see a face to go with the names.
We just got home about an hour ago. I am so worn out! lol
So much fun. One of our son's and Dil and 2 grands came out to the same camp ground and we did not even know it was them till the 2nd day. lol We had a nice visit.

I hope you can convince him!

Would one from a shelter be good for you?

Did you get a knee replacement?
No, just worked on the quads some. Though I have never in my life been able to do the "catcher's squat" without pain standing up and if I get down for more than a minute or two, can't walk comfortably for a bit. Same thing if I am just sitting on the ground. My knees do NOT like to be in one position very long.

Yes, I put the table, and toy organizer together for the grandkids.
And here I was going to guess you started a day care ;)

Very nice!

Very nice as well!! I love the colors!

I quoted this but missed typing anything. I just love roosters even if I had no hens.
It makes no sense.
Thanks Wicked, i love making them.
Hubby made me a work table for cutting the siding for my coop. I love it for my feed buckets and water jugs. Then i don't i have to bend to fill waterers. I want one for the work shop too.
