Our first rescue cat was like that. In fact during the "check the cat out" interview at the HS he was wandering around the office checking stuff out. No concerns with him. He was more a dog than a cat in some respects, always ran to the door to see who was there.After everything he had been thru I totally expected it to take some time for him to trust us that's why I gave him his own "safe place" to hang in until he was ready. He came out almost immediately on his own, came right over to me, hopped up in my lap and fell asleep purring. He wanted to do nothing but cuddle, purr and sleep in my arms or DH's lap for days.
The rescues are more grateful!He's friendlier than the other two we have (on purpose)!
