Did go to our poultry auction with a few bird to add bought 8 dozen and 3 young pullets within a few weeks they where giving us a few just not daily but enough to keep two of my best customers and us in eggs. Will not resort to store bought if I can help it

Get this, i did see a mosquito in our house a couple of days ago! In December, after it had snowed here! Really?!

Maybe I'm older than I think I am but so far I like the old movies , haven't liked any of the newer one's yet.
Have heard this latest one is pretty good though. ?

I haven't liked any of the new ones, either. I thought the last one (7 I think) was a regurgitation of 4, and this one seems to be a fair regurgitation of 5. The plot line they have for Luke is pretty ridiculous, and it seems like they do things just to be showy instead of adding to the plotline. There was an incredibly ridiculous scene with what I call Giant Pippy Animals (Pippy is my nubian goat). It didn't really add to the plotline and was just there for show. That kind of crap really irritates me. I think Dsqard summed it up pretty good: It's just a bunch of whiny Skywalker kids messing up the universe. (She thought the movie was good, though).

I did manage to find my Gump Girl bread recipe, so I started that with one loaf being italian and the other going to end up cinnamon sugar.

I hope you quarantined them, those auctions are where people send sick birds to get rid of them!

Good Sunday morning all. Sitting here trying to get my eyes to focus over a cup of coffee...

I'm getting 3 eggs a day average right now. My two little BBR girls are laying tiny eggs for me at a rate of about 5 a week, then I have a couple of Welly hens that are older but still giving me an egg or two on occasion. Now that they are almost three the Welly girls aren't giving me speckled eggs any longer but their eggs are a delightful cafe o lay color. I worry about their reproductive systems wearing out as their eggs are huge.

Plans for the day? Absolutely positively nothing. I may make some Christmas cookies and pop them in the freezer but that is about it. Yesterday was sunny and a mild 50 something but today is cloudy and 44.

May try one of Alaskan's cookie recipes.
