The Old Folks Home

Ok, is Ron out there this morning? Need your help. My kitty walked across the keyboard (he's discovered I have a touchscreen and enjoys doing a "sneak attack" and changing my screen) anyway, he stepped or whatever on something and I lost my sidebar stuff on the right side and I can't figure out how to get it back. Probably just not enough coffee yet. This huge posting/typing is irritating. Can you help me? TIA.

Have you tried hitting F11, @chicksoup? You might try that and if that doesn't work try doing a reboot.

Our cats do the same thing from time to tiem.

It's 5 degrees here this morning. When DH got up it was 68 in the house and that's after stoking the fire with two big hickory rounds last night. It's just plain freaking cold outside.

We had a very nice time at the neighbors yesterdays. Their kids are great. I got talking to one of the little boys, he's about 8 years old and always gives me a picture to hang on the refrigerator, and somehow the conversation turned to what would you do if you won the lottery. I asked him if he knew how much a million dollars was and he shook his head so I asked him if he knew how much one tenth of a million was and what would he do if he had 100,000 dollars. Without missing a beat he said he would give it to his mom and dad so they could finish the basement. They set a foundation under their house last fall but didn't get the floor poured. I had to hug him.

Hope y'all have a great 'day after Christmas' and if you have company/family in, enjoy your time with them.

SGC, your puppy is adorable. What breed is it?

Thank you for the suggestions, unfortunately neither worked.
push the windows button on the lower left of the screen. That should get the task bar bak up. Then right click(alternate click--left click of using left handed setup). Click on settings and fix what the Kitty messed up. It is likely hidden or has been moved to another place on desktop

Thank you Ron! I didn't clarify that the problem was only on BYC not in general, HOWEVER, you got me thinking (finally) and the lightbulb went on!!! Kitty somehow managed to expand my text (it would only change this site, maybe a Chrome thing, who knew?) Anyway, reduced the text size and all better. Again, thank you.

Good job!

Bad Kitty....

Took my over 45 minutes to do a 10 minute job this morning. Chooks are all fine. No frostbite but lots of frozen water that I had to chip out of bowl and refill with warm water.

I have one of those silly hats that looks like a bear head. You know, they have ears and are shaggy fake fur. I walked into the bantam coop wearing it without thinking and they went ballistic. I'm sure they thought some huge wild animal dressed in a fleece lined camo coat with a bear head was going to kill and eat them all. I finally had to pull the hat off and say, 'Hey Guys it's ME!' before they would settle down. Lots of flying feathers and screaming until they saw it was me and calmed.

Chicki, glad you got the computer sorted out. They are wonderful until they decide not to work.
