The Old Folks Home

One 40 lb bag of sand, 3 home depot buckets of salt/sand and some ash from the stoves and I think she's passable. Only did the upper 2/3 of the driveway, once you get past the hairpin turn you can just slide the rest of the way down.

Will have to get more salt/sand this afternoon at the town pit. Looks like after today we're back down below freezing for the foreseeable future.

I don't know how y'all can eat all those sweet's and not gain 40 lbs. If I just look at a cheesecake I will gain 10 lbs!

Scg some trees get those types of growth's on them that show how healthy they are.
Stay safe on all that ice.

Clue congrats on getting rid of your cables all over the floors.

Cap nice going getting more stuff planted.

I bought 5 20 gallon grow bags to plant fruit trees in this spring.
I am wanting to put them in the greenhouse after we get it built.
I still need to figure out what to put the on or in to keep the roots air pruned and keep them in a kiddie pool type set up.
I will plant a satsuma, methley plum, pomegranate tree in the greow bags along with my elderberries.

That tree will hit the chicken coop first. I thought it was pretty with the snow on the fungus
Birch is where you can find those Chaga mushrooms. Stuff sells for 40-$50lb.
I spend more time looking at birch trees in the woods hoping to find another than I do looking for deer lol. I know I've seen them many times before I knew what they were, now that I'm looking I've only found two...

Add the Singulair and the Zyrtec
I was taking Zyrtec (generic) but since I added the Flonase (then generic) and I'm using Alaway allergy eye drops, I figured that I probably didn't need THREE allergy meds and dropped the "Zyrtec". Seems to still be OK.

The online price is 22.99 for 5 bottles. The Costco Warehouse has coupons for the generic flonaise in the Spring usually and the price is a lot lower then.

The current price is $4.6 per bottle. Each bottle is 120 sprays which is the big bottle
The Costco flyer I got Saturday says $6 off, limit 5 packages. I guess that means $17 for 5 bottles or $3.40/bottle. A single bottle of Flonase at the grocery store is about $20. Insurance stopped covering it once it came out from behind the pharmacist's counter. Going from $5 with insurance to $20 without was quite the shock. Funny how they would pay all but $5 of the non OTC cost, which I'm sure was way more than $20, but not pay the extra $15 for OTC.

Unless you have special powers, sliding UP the hill doesn't work very well ;)

I too suffer from allergies. Dh gets allergy meds, and flonase free from his job. He won't do the flonase, so I use it.

Well, they finally got my porch re-screened, and put in all new hardware. They did a fantastic job. It's wonderful! I don't have to worry about birds, bugs, and snakes on my porch now.

Later this morning, we're having a company come in, and pull various types of cables, and wires through the attic, and walls. Dh, and I are just not young, and spry enough to do it ourselves. Right now, we have various types of cables everywhere. We had to do it that way, to get things set up. Now that we know where we want everything placed permanently, it's time to have them come run the lines. They'll be running about 16 lines for us. We won't be tripping over cables anymore. YAY! Next, we will get at least part of the new appliances I want, and we will start getting everything for the fence, gates, and auto gate opener(s).
I started the generic flonaise this morning.

Ate the cables for power, Ethernet or both? We use wireless mostly now. The new A\C wireless works great!

I should get the new Costco coupon book today. I will be looking for that flyer.

I may try not taking the allergy pill this year too.
