The Old Folks Home

Ron we have a well. But it uses power to pump it out.
Dh has multiple crushed disks in his neck and back. And have to have money to call a plumber.

Diva I'm with you! That's to cold!

Dh brought the pork home. It filled the 1/2 of the freezer I made room for in it.

Guess what's for supper. :lau
I hope you can get it fixed soon!

The orchard I grew up on had a well with a pump. We also irrigated with a pump that took water from an irrigation district. We had to pay for electricity for both of those pumps.

So I lost my pin on my lanyard when I fell and the car ran over it. A little close for comfort.

I took a photo, hard to appreciate the grade here, but you can see the claw marks from my studded tires sliding down the driveway as well as the snow in the driveway from where I belly crawled, quickly, to get out of the path.

I put another 5 gallons of salt/sand on that area and another 50 lbs of salt on the hairpin turn.

I could never live in CA, too many rules and regs.
About 15 years ago the school district built a new high school and added a well for water. the well water was used at the school for about 10 years before the City figured out what was going on. The school was forced to use the well water for irrigation only and had to hook up to the city water for all other uses.

It is a weird place here for sure!

Amazing!

Are you really a stunt double?

Ya I could not believe a woman went to all the expenses to put in solar power and recycle her own water filtered. And had it all done to the state regulations. And the city took her to court because she was not hooked up to city utilities. The judge ordered her to comply. Very sad!
