The Old Folks Home

I am still hoping to see "The Shape of Water," movie for a second time - it was THAT good! Brother thinks once was enough :barnie

Was it sad? I'm scared to see it because it looks sad. Surely they weren't able to escape off to an island & live forever with their human-tadpoles, or were they???

Nope, 5 cm irregular mass. Biopsy ordered.
:( Sure hope it is benign.

But I keep reminding myself that it will be beautiful when he's done.
That is your mantra for the next week or three!

I will likely lose a lot of cabinet space when these come out.
Great time to get rid of all the things in the cabinets that you don't use.

I also told dh I need at least one plug one one side of the sink.
Current code says 1 outlet every 2' on kitchen counters. TWO FEET! And the appliance makers are "helping" with the really short cords. The electricians nicely put in an outlet near the floor for the Bosch dishwasher. When I went to install it I found it has a special connector that goes to a special junction box.

Yep! I had to use a short extension to install the dishwasher at my place. Stupid short cord

And THAT is the sort of thing electricians do NOT want to see. Extensions mean potential points of failure. And in a "wet area", serious concern. But what can one do? Rip the walls apart and add outlets? Not likely going to happen in most homes.

I Know! I have it up off of the bottom of the cabinet to protect from a water leak but I do not like to have to do that.
