The Old Folks Home

We had to go get some building materials for the kitchen today. And we stopped at the Piggly Wiggly in town on the way home to get some eggs. They cost us 5.35 plus tax for 5.89 for 18 eggs! I still can't get over that! We will never buy eggs in this town again!
Not sales tax on not prepared food here.

Those were expensive eggs!

I am pretty sure they build a big mound of vegetation and lay their eggs in it. I used to watch a lot of nature shows.
The Brush-turkey (Alectura lathami) incubates their eggs in a compost pile. :hu Not sure why their eggs....and the alligator eggs. ...don't turn into those Chinese thousand year eggs. :old

Thank you everyone for your prayers & warm sentiments. Each of you & yours will continue to be in our prayers, group hugs for all :hugsView attachment 1308669
