It is good to give out starter to people!

Sorry SCG... Hope you're better soon. Hope you fared OK with the storms Chicka... Looked like AL got hammered pretty good. It's a pretty impressive storm system from Canada all the way down through GA now and out into the gulf.

× whatever for the suffering @superchemicalgirl Dang, that is just terrible! :hugs

But I didn't get hit by anything storm wise. ... :hu got a touch colder so the melted water on top of our frozen pond refroze... but no weather excitement.

Where is the challenge for kids today?? Everything is pre made in a kit in a kit for them. I really worry about them.

Must depend on where you are... our pinewood derby was this past Saturday..... looked like only one dad ... uh... "took over". All of the other cars were either clearly mostly kid, or a parent and kid team up. I don't think anyone had bought anything to spruce up the cars. :hu Except for paint... I think everyone just used what came in the box. We had a graphite station for all cars entering the race. Dunno... Alaska tends to be low key on lots of stuff.

My Daughters dis all of their projects when in school. They always did well with them too!

I think their teachers appreciated that I did not do them instead.

At this point I'm going to say it's just a case of norovirus (or similar). I stopped puking about 24 hours ago and the diarrhea is slowing. The rest of BF's family is starting to clear, as well, they have about a day lead on my symptoms.

I hydrated enough today that I actually had to pee (out the correct orifice).

If you've got something that's making your gi tract act violently generally you don't want to slow it down with medications, you just want to get it out. I took a fiber capsule to help bulk things up a bit and 2 doses of pepto to help absorb toxins, if present.
we used pepto when we went through Noro.... and Yep riding it out is the best thing. I had been out of the hospital about two weeks when we were hit.... One good thing was I never puked so hard in my whole life.... and it fixed a pain I was having from the surgery.... No idea what it was but when I went to stand it doubled me over....

Yay.... for Noro... Boo for the rest.....l
