Yes, happy Friday. Anyone have fun weekend plans? I work and am on call for 48 hours, starting in about 24 hours, then have to work my regular Monday shift. I'm off today, time to get the studded snow tires off and try and finish the rocker patches for that quilt. I got the bottom patch on so far and EST. Gotta come back and add the year on then stitch around it, then start the top rocker.

Should I make Jelly from the black berries in the Freezer?

I am picking up a pellet BBQ from Home Depot and need to decide what to BBQ or Smoke this weekend

I am going to use a food mill.

Or you can stick them in a strainer and squish the non seed parts through.

Personally I prefer preserves to jelly.

I do too but some don't like the seeds. Blackberry is better but they hat raspberry jam with all of the seeds. If I make jam, I have to do a semi seedless version

The good news is the cone now contains the drool so that it isn't deposited without prejudice all over my house.
The bad news is the cone now contains the drool and the dog has little concern for personal space. So now your hands/butt/face/leg/arm get a coneful of hot, sticky slobber.
