The Old Folks Home

I bet your sons are big and husky - can't picture one fitting in a smart car:gig

:lau Very true! But the eldest is maybe barely 5'10" However he has very wide shoulders. He is the only one of the kids with some fat, I think he weighs 210.

The smart car was a 4 seater, so not too bad.

That is excellent ! Remember though, I think all critters eat grapes. Will you have to net it?

Al, good to hear all accounts of eldest son's situation. Major improvements on the stranger situation, and transportation too. Middle kid gets his mattress. That's the way it works. It's the law of multiple children, and hand-me-downs.
Good point! Since he is now chief wood chopper, he should get the mattress. I think he is the one stuck on the worst mattress. ... now that I think about it. :old

But is it the middle child of those born or the middle child of those remaining in the house? Which one is the middle child when there are 4 of them??

I have 5... but I think middle kid gets the mattress... he chops more wood than kid 2. :old (also, I think his mattress is the oldest and worst , maybe 20 years old)

I bought some wax coated sandwich bags to put over the clusters and staple them over the vine to keep the critters from eating them.

I guess the Rapatha is not for me. My body is having reactions to it. Nausea and muscle cramps among another bothersome side effect. The first night I got the shot I was up most of the night with muscle cr amps in my leg and ankle. Then yesterday my other leg was hurting and cramping. Then my knee swole and hurt very badly. I was up most of the night again with leg cramps. My body does not like stantins. So I guess I will have to change my eating habits.

I read an article that said statins don't lower heart attack risk for women. It helps middle aged men only to reduce cholesterol.

Diet and exercise like walking is the best thing to do for heart health

Don't feel bad, @chickadoodles, I cannot take them either. I've tried everything from niacin to red yeast rice or red rice yeast, whichever it is. Both are ingredients in the RX statin drugs and I wind up with the nausea and muscle weakness also. Doc finally said he would rather I stay active then inactive. New doc told me my cholesterol at 230, wasn't high for a woman of 'senior' age.

Eat healthy, stay active, and take care of yourself, lady!
