The climate there is prime for them to adapt how scary for folks I would not be one to stay if that is going on

ThonoWho??Last Saturday, in Thonotosassa?
I had a BYC member from Oklahoma send me a package of those Egyptian walking onion plants. DW about flipped completely berserko that I gave our address to some stranger online who was probably a serial killer...Really guys, if I wanted to be discovered, I would have name, address, email, etc etc. published. I have the full names and addresses of several on line BYCER friends. I like to send folks a surprise now and then with their permission. I said I would not give their private information out to anyone- and never have.
I would really appreciate the same confidentiality afforded to me.

I pick up hitchhikers also (when I'm by myself not with family) even picked up one I wasn't sure of on a back road dressed in full camo with a backpack, hmm, he doesn't have a gun this is strange.... Turned out he was out digging ginseng and ended up on the wrong side of the mountain miles from his truck.

I know in the Everglades they're paying for people to catch them.. The story is that the Boa Constrictors are interbreeding with the Ball Pythons and creating a bigger snake.. Neither snake are poisonous, but they will kill and eat cats, pigs, dogs, yes, chicken too; even humans - adult or child, so there is a situation there; especially when they are being found in people's backyards and swimming pools..Yes, they are eating the wild mammals. They have a contest to see who can catch the most invasive snakes every year.
Ditto @getaclue, you've got it right there..I thought I answered penny's post, but I guess it didn't post, or something. Okeechobee, Lake Wales, Kissimmee, and mostly the Everglades have been being plagued by constrictors (boas, pythons, and anacondas) The worst affected is the Everglades. Yes, they do hold a hunt every year, but the amatures don't really get very many. Due to our climate, they've thrived here, and their population in the wild has exploded. This year, they've hired professionals to go into the Everglades, and clean out as many of the constrictors as they can.
The constrictors have decimated the wild bird population, not just songbirds, but we have a multitude of exotic birds here. They've decimated the wild boar population, the wild deer population, and even alligators are not safe from them. Nothing is safe from them. They're destroying the food chain of the native species, and destroying their ecosystem.
It's not only the right thing, but the smart thing to do.. I have problems trusting people I know lol..guess I have gotten rather chicken of online games or such not so trusting of
strangers anymore
