Thanks Deb. Like you though, its just me... Can't be in two places at once. Nobody to hold the chain on the tire. Guess I could partially deflate it. Other thing is I'd really like to not bend the T-posts so I can use them again.

Everyone I know that has one loves them and has no probs. Me personally I'd rather have a Mihindra or New Holland, but you'll pay $$ extra.Does anyone have a kubota tractor they can tell me how they like it?
Um, well I COULD if it weren't for the 3 90° turns and the 3' wide doors. I'm pretty sure you can't get a 5' wide tractor through a 3' wide door, even if you drive fast.Well Bruce, they knew you were getting a tractor with forks. You simply lift it up with the forks and work from underneath it... What happened to that old Yankee ingenuity?![]()
Personally I do not believe that method of pulling posts will work for those you pounded into the cement. In fact, I wouldn't think it particularly good for any very dense/solid soil. Thanks Deb. And what if it isn't all related to the engine? The whole PTO connection to the engine, etc could be causing problems. Methinks he just wants to replace it with a new mower. For grins I looked up Kubota Z turns. The first one has this "ad" description. I would avoid it just because of theBruce I suggested that to Dh he won't do it. He said he may tear the engine down to find out what's wrong with it.
Or get an old tractor rim.... Grooved enough to straddle the Post big enough to get it out of the ground before bending it.Thanks Deb. Like you though, its just me... Can't be in two places at once.
