good morning friends-7.gif

Yipes! @chrisb01 I think that thing should come with a seizure warning! Greetings to you, too!:frow

That proves that you love them.

If they don't drive you crazy... it is because you don't care. :old

I dunno about that one, Al. I've had people I worked for or worked with that drove me bonkers. BB2K had a teacher last year that she raved about every day (and not in a good way). She just about had an anxiety attack when she saw that person's name attached to a course she's taking next semester - here's hoping she can get that changed before then (the school is big enough that most courses are taught by more than one teacher).

I think people drive you crazy when they don't care. They don't care enough about your thoughts and feelings to change what they do; they just go barreling on with whatever they have in mind, and leave you screaming with frustration.

Sometimes, of course, that independence of action is healthy; nobody should become another person's puppet. But a marriage is supposed to make you a team, so you ought to at least be able to feel that your teammate has your back (and won't be sticking knives into it). Finding a balance between maintaining your individuality and being part of the team is probably what makes marriage such hard work.

Saludos back to everybody! Only problem with the mosquito repellent around here is that the Missouri 'skeeters are tough and big. They would only drink the Tequilla, ask for more and if they didn't get it, they would punch you out and then drink your blood!

Cool and sunny here this morning. Thunderstorms tonight and I really hope we get them within reason of course. Everything here is just so dry and miserable. The ground is cracked and the weird thing is that here, you can usually dig down and within a reasonable distance, hit wet ground. Usually around 6 inches or so. Now it's just dry and hard. No moisture at all. Just rock hard clay.

Plans for today, still working on the new brooder. Starting to wind things up with it though. It turned out to be larger than I thought it would. Kinda a condo. But I hope the babies like it.

@perchie.girl, Deb, how are you feeling these days. So good to see you back here on a regular basis.

Same for you Penny. How you feeling this morning?

Dh ordered my blinds for the triple slider. Close to $500.00. It was cheaper overall to get the rail, and the panels, than to just get the rail. I won't use the new panels yet. I'll order packs of panels every so often, until I get enough to do the other slider, and the big picture window. Then I'll change them all out. Currently, the old panels all match, are in good shape, and I like the pattern so it's not an immediate concern. The rail was necessary though. I would have had the old one fixed, but it opens in the center. I need a left to right pull, with the cords on the left, panels stack on the right. So far, Bali has been really good to work with.

 Those are some scary skeeters!

I thought for sure, with hrs. Zof rain just literally dumping, the fire would be out. .........................Current Situation: Rain that moved through the area over the last two days tempered fire activity and has provided opportunities for firefighters to work in areas that would have been difficult to access safely a few days ago. Yesterday, firefighters reported minimal fire activity around the entirety of the fire perimeter, taking advantage of the lull to increase containment to 64%.
