soo pretty I woudl want to do like you as well if I could walk. dont be a stranger please I havent had chickens for more than five years now.Hello All! Sorry I have been off here so long. Without chickens, I rarely come on here. The pictures above are from SCG and my trip to Utah. It was an excellent vacation and now I just want to move there and either open a B&B or run a hiking guide company. I would love to do nothing but walk around these gorgeous places all day and take pictures. I hope all are doing well. Not sure if I will come on very often but I will try to remember to come on more often at least!
Yes they are and IIRC they make a new web every night!!Impressive little engineers.
You have a lot of company on that!I absolutely positively HATE a thief!
I am so sorry Chicka that that happened to you. Paypal is always telling me that they are fort Knox safe....yeah right. I would lock out or close that account some how.
I had an Identity theft of over 9000$ once. Somebody used my credit card and bought a diamond tennis bracelet with it. My Credit Card company was great to work with as I have theft protection on my card. They finally found out who did it and called me asking if I knew this person. I didn't so they went after them.
DH had his identity stolen more than once. One time to fund a trip to France for somebody and the other time when an employee took out a credit card in his name and spent 10,000 on it......on top of stealing over 40,000 from his office account.
I absolutely positively HATE a thief!
Here at UC Davis we are starting to use dual login. After logging in, I have to get a 6 digit code from an app on my phone and enter it to complete the login. While it seems hard to believe, there is a very easy way to set up very secure passwords that are unique to every site, but still easy to remember.
1. Pick out a short phrase, for example"The Sun Sets One Time Daily". The phrase should have at least six words, and it is helpful if one of those words is a number as well.
2. Set your password to use the first letters of each word in your phrase, substituting a numeral for the number word.( If you don't have a number word, then add a number to the end of it). Capitalize one letter in the series.
So in this example, your password could start with "tss1tD"
Some websites will also ask you to put in a special figure, such as an !, which you can add either before or after.
3. For each website, add the first three letters of that website's name to the end of your password. So for example, your PayPal password would be "tss1tDpay"
As you can see these letters appear completely random. And as long as you remember your phrase, you will remember your password for every single website that you set up with it. If you need to change passwords then you pick a new phrase and reset your passwords site-by-site as you use them to the new phrase.
I can foresee a time when passwords will become more and more complicated, in an attempt to foil scammers, or that we may need to change our passwords more frequently for security reasons. I use a different phrase for all of my financial passwords, because if I'm going to change one financial password I'm going to change them all, and that allows me to leave my other passwords undisturbed.
