The decimated beach communities may have made for dramatic pictures, but agriculture throughout the Southeast has taken some major damage this year.

Kid 3 was on the sled, but he bailed before it hit the tree. No damage done to the kid.

I think the sled is fine too.

I really enjoy snowmobiling, but man those sleds are perilous.

WHY are they so tight with the pain meds?????

Couple reasons...
1. We are starting to understand that traditional opioid pain medications may in fact make us more sensitive to pain.
2. Many opioids are showing to be no better at acute pain relief than acetaminophen with an NSAID (like ibuprofen).

I did read about some new alternatives that might be better.

The protocol should be to use them for the first several days after surgery though. We have a history in the US of swinging too far with things like this.
