I don’t disagree that the vaccine is helpful. I’m sure it is. But I can also understand a parent’s concern about long term effects when there is so much hoopla about that, too.
I honestly don’t envy young parents. One day while visiting with a DIL and listening to her theories as to why she does or doesn’t do certain things as a parent, I said, “It’s a wonder my kids made it to adulthood.” She told me, “Well, we have so much more knowledge nowadays.” Um, no. You have more information available to you, but there is a lot of conflicting information out there. How does one know what to believe? A person can find studies to support any side of any argument they want to present. Sometimes I think technology is not always our friend.
