Picked up Rascal today, her radioactive count was about 0.3, they release when it gets to or below 0.5. She was 0.55 yesterday morning. She was quite happy to leave. Wanted me to scratch her all the way home so there I was with one hand on the wheel and one in the slightly opened zipper on the Sherpa carrier. When we got home she thought she would try to force her way out past my hand. NO!!! The last thing I need is her loose in the car. She took off when I opened the carrier in the house and OF COURSE Christofur had to chase after her. He can't seem to understand that the other cats don't really want to play. Now we need to feed her up maybe 1.5 pounds to get back to her usual weight. She got a couple of pieces of ham and half a 5 oz can of cat food. Dry food to but with Christofur around you never know how much he chows down if another cat leaves any.

Thanks everyone for the sympathy. I do have a yorkie in FL that is living with my Mom. She will stay there as long as Mom needs her, they are very bonded.
We also have a 2 year old Shepherd that i bought for hubby when she was a year old.

She is a very special dog, gets along with all the animals and loves both of us humans.

What makes that poor man's garlic bread? I figure "poor man's" is regular loaf bread with butter spread on it and garlic powder sprinkled over that then broiled. I guess I generally make "middle income man's" garlic bread. Loaf slices but I chop up real garlic and cook it in a quantity of butter before brushing it on the bread and broiling.

We also have a 2 year old Shepherd that i bought for hubby when she was a year old.

I wouldn't feed you anything but "doing pretty well" man/woman's garlic bread DD! Nice fresh baguette or sourdough, real butter (the only thing I use though I grew up on Imperial margarine) and real garlic.
