The Old Folks Home

No offense taken. I realize I was out of line but I was cold and tired and it made sense at the time. I would have set myself on fire if I thought it would be beneficial long term.
Finally warm. Don't feel great but don't feel like death.

Got my latest quilt all finished. Hope to gift it tomorrow. Spent 4 hours tonight doing the binding.

I love this, especially the goats! Nice job!

Yeah on the bright side I did get extra protein along with my veggies.

Penny, we have a Beautyrest heated mattress pad on our bed. Dual controls. It's one of our prized possessions. On cold nights, crank it up to 10 to get the bed good and warm then adjust it down when we call it a day.

Plus it bakes the aches and pains away.
Best 89 dollars we ever spent.
That sounds heavenly!

Microchick what a nice thing to do for your Marek's survivors. I bet they love it. You are an extremely thoughtful person. :yesss:
Thanks DD:hugswhat a sweet thing to read early in the morning or anytime for that matter!

Temp is climbing to 34 today and the extended forecast calls for slowly climbing temps into the foreseeable future. I:celebrate let the thaw begin!

We have a greyhound that sleeps on the bed. She's a needy dog and likes actual physical contact whenever possible. On cold nights DH and I try to wrest her away from each other. Nothing like a thermal dog!

Bread, especially white bread, is like crack to my chickens. I try to get the discounted rolls and buns at the local supermarket to stuff into their treat ball.
