Of course that. At the moment the pups are blissfully asleep in the utility room. We tossed together a puppy yard today so they can spend the daytime outside and be ran in and out from the utility room when in so we can get them on a half hour schedule.
We worry about the puppy mill prospect. Lots of that around here. But we have the suspicion they didn't breed these pups No ACDs around the place German Shepard Dogs, small terriers Rat Terriers I think and whatever they are breeding them with to get mixes. They may have horse traded for the litter and discovered that they couldn't sell them around here because the area is pretty well saturated with ACDs. Lots of cattle around us with big herds so there has to be a demand for dogs that can work cattle.
I told DH that they had us pegged now and expect me to ride a horse home some day. He didn't laugh. The reality is I probably would if it meant saving the animals life.
They all have names now. The little girl is Sidney, then there is Bently (Ben), Varna (named for our speed bike, Varn for short, Ox, he's the biggest and Diesel, the smallest and a little heathen who ripped both of our shirts thinking they were convenient pull toys.
Getting them to answer to their names will be as big of a challenge as house breaking, LOL.
