The Old Folks Home

Ron just found season 5 Luther on BBC station 7 pm our time. Either they can't come up with decent ideas or he is sick of playing that part - really stunk this time. Except for the very last minute or so.

Maybe Idris is just worn out from his 5th. wife or ?? can't remember. But it was a real buzz killer.

I hope he catches his second wind! and the series gets better

Thanks, Cap, I'll pass on the good wished to DH.That pup is just adorable. Such a tiny little soul wrapped up in fur! I have no doubt that she isn't going to be spoiled rotten.

Busy weekend here. We spent most of Sunday mowing. The grass was up to our knees in places and they are calling for more rain starting tomorrow though Friday so it is mow it now or have it baled when they do the pasture.

My garden is a disaster zone. Too much rain. Peas and onions are yellowing out and the peas were just starting to blossom. My containers are doing okay. Pole beans that I planted as an experiment are doing great in with my On Deck Sweet Corn so we shall see. If I manage to get beans off of them I'll never again plant a 'in the dirt' garden but will switch to containers for everything I plant.

I have chicks due to hatch on Wednesday so I'm scrambling today to get a new brooder pen up and running before the rain hits tonight.

In the mean time I need to catch up on posts and I'm sitting here waiting for the PA to call me back about the adverse reaction I'm having to the gout medicine...waiting and waiting and waiting.

DD don't tell anyone either but July 18th is my day!

I hope the hatch goes well!

Gardens are a bit iffy for many this year I think.
