Our dogs all porpoise from the tall orchard grass in the spring. They are all much shorter than the tall brome that grows there. Funny to watch and I usually am doing the theme from Jaws when I see them do it.

It's just amazing to see how high they can jump from a standing position! Our other cattle dog, Dingo, was a climber, not a jumper...that took too much energy and he was bonified lazy unless a dirt bike or 'chase a rabbit' occured.

OMG that is hilarious!! I love watching dogs bound through it lol so entertaining!!

And aw he sounds great too!! Funny how they’re all different in their own ways but still awesome. these ones seem the opposite of lazy haha

And yes it is amazing how much air they can get!! I imagine yours look much like the ones in the video? Maybe even more athletic!! Those dogs can get some serious AIR lol

Take care of YOU, Cap. Your body is working overtime trying to overcome a truly nasty bacteria load. Rest is good.

DH and I were going through old office papers a couple of months ago and we ran across a thick spiral notebook. When he opened it and began thumbing through it his jaw dropped and he asked me what it was. I only had to glance at it in order to tell him that it was 'how I kept working in the office while battling Lyme.' He was pretty surprised because each page was filled with graffiti like writing. Patient's names, orders, telephone numbers sometimes just a word or two under a patient's name. My short term memory was so bad that all I had to do was jot down a few key words in order to stimulate recall. That spiral notebook was 500 pages like that, front and back. He was pretty amazed how I coped. Sometimes there were little doodles, mainly lightening bolts, tornados. I must have been doodling how I was feeling at the time.

DH was impressed and asked me if I wanted to keep it as a momento. Nope. Tossed it. No good memories associated with Lyme Disease.
