The Old Folks Home

Wow that’s amazing!! I’m going to have to try that! I’ve been getting them a lot lately :/

But mine have a lot of different causes. Usually dry eyes, jaw pain, processed food, concerts or dehydration though

But I’m gonna try this. Do you take them separately or in a multivitamin or?

I take them separately. I found them on Amazon (no stores near here have Magnesium aspartate). Riboflavin should be easy to find.

I am going to have a lot of broody chickens come spring. I have 4 silkie hens, 3 Giant cochins, and 11 bantam cochins, plus about half a dozen Mille fleurs.

OMG!! :ep

You’re going to be overloaded with broodies. :lau :hugs

My Australorp went broody earlier this year. Wish she was still broody haha

But I like having them inside so I can see them hatch and candle haha

Thanks! I’ll have to look on Amazon. Though I’m a little nervous I’ll get a fraud or something haha

Try Vitacost.com. That is where I buy all of my vitamins and supplements. Their 'vitacost' line is priced very reasonably plus they have a lot of organics and a great variety of health foods/teas. I just got a 15% off plus free shipping with no minimum coupon from them.

I'll definitely try the riboflavin and magnesium. I read something somewhere that said that most seniors were deficient in magnesium. The same with vitamin D3. I have to take one of those humongous Citracal horse tablets every morning since I'm on the prolia. Plus a high dose vitamin D3 besides flax seed oil and omega oil as anti-inflammatory supplements.

I hadn't had the aura in ages and then one day boom! There it was again. I don't get the stomach pain and vomiting any more thank goodness but it's still irritating. I have read that chocolate can be a trigger. Could be as I can remember waking up in the middle of the night heaving my toenails after eating chocolate cake. Thank goodness I outgrew that. A life without chocolate....unbelievable!

@KDOGG331, you sure will have a nice variety of birds. Hope you get a lot of hens and have a successful hatch!:fl:jumpy:fl

Didn’t realize just how much I moved today until I saw this :lau :th

I’ll have to try there. Seems like a good site!

Funny thing is for the dog I was always buying all sorts of supplements as well as other supplies and stuff for him and with the cat and chickens I somewhat do it too, though not nearly as much, and always make sure they get the best food and whatnot (within reason lol) and read ingredients and labels, etc. but yet with myself, I don’t take like any supplements or anything and still eat horribly. :lau :hide

Although I actually have bought several things, there’s a lot in the cabinet that I saw somewhere and thought looked good/useful/interesting but haven’t taken :hide

But still.

The pets I’m super into it and know how much it affects their health but with me I eat terribly usually and don’t exercise then wonder why I feel terrible. :lau :hide

Although I actually don’t really wonder. I know why but don’t take action. Which is almost worse. :hide

Chocolate is one for me but only sometimes and only certain times. Sometimes I can eat it and be perfectly fine, usually actually, but other times I can’t. I do know processes/fast food/microwave ones and all that junk are for me too lately.

And yes they certainly gave me quite the variety! I’m super excited! And thank you!! I hope so :fl

It’s my first hatch ever haha

I’m thinking I might keep all the girls and maybe a rooster. :lau :hide
