bruce, I weighed out my decision, and the message about getting away with something forbidden, if not caught. Ever seen a 2 year old look around to see if anyone was watching, before jumping on the couch, or on their bed, because they knew they were not to do it? Kids learn this at a very early age. All small kids will be tempted by at least one thing, that they have much more difficulty in trying to restrain themselves. This seems to be her Kryptonite. While I'm not trying to reinforce bad behavior, this is more about picking my battles. I want her to be able to enjoy the tree, but not bend the branches, and mess them up. I don't mind that she likes to change the lighting patterns. If I tell her not to mess up the branches when she changes the pattern, she won't be nearly as careful. This way, we're both happy, and it doesn't put a damper on things.

Easy enough to do even when you aren't doing anything crazy. Lose an edge on packed icy snow and you may end up off trail, lucky if you can stop between the trees rather than against one.

Yep! "Daddy go back in basement now". Couldn't help but laugh. DD1 at about 2 years old, climbed a chair onto the kitchen counter and was about to open the cabinet when she looked around and saw me just inside the basement door. The odd thing is that cabinet held dishes and glasses including the plastic kid ones. She could have just asked her mother to get her a cup but she also had another phrase "'DD1' do by self".

Maybe you can have fun messing with her: "Look the lights changed patterns again! Must be the house ghost is playing tricks on us!!"

Baking oatmeal raisin cookies here DH's favorite. Kept some of the batter out for me and put some choco chips in them instead of raisins which remind me of cooked bugs.

Showed DH the skiijoring picture and asked him if he wanted to try that with the 5 brats. We both had the same mental picture pop into our heads and cracked up laughing.

Still as powerful as these dogs are and with their superior endurance as workers, they would make excellent sled dogs.

Definitely would not recommend hooking all 5 up to yourself at once. :lau

Still, maybe you could take the quietest, most well behaved one and try it. :D

Only if she wants to get broken!!!! The dog needs to be trained to pull properly.

:lau very true!! Training is definitely essential but even with training, with the way she’s described how they leap through the fields, I am sure they would be going warp speed the whole time and not exactly safe :lau
