We're talking anywhere from 11:30 pm, to 3:30 am. It's not real often, so no big deal.

How close are the neighbors? Sounds travels well at night. It would be a big deal to me if I was getting woken up at those hours.

We have no noise either at night .. Morning , afternnoon Old Folks busy darn morning here had my two cups..
49th rat killed this morning had front foot in a trap and his tail in another.
Disptched him with CO2 behind the ear..
Off to wake up peeps in the brooder

bruce, what makes you think we keep it so loud the sounds would wake our neighbors? To answer your question, none are close enough to be affected.

Same here Clue.. The Son sleeps with his TV on we are on different sides of the house.
I do not hear it or Neighbor early leaving, If we are up early we now the are at it .. Close one has a storage unit business.

Morning, OF... Time to wake up and get a move on. Already baked the chicken breast, did quite a bit of weed and grass trimming with the Remington, then raked it up to go in runs for the kids to play in. Mopped the kitchen floor and now it's time to get more chores done.
It was really funny, Gator was following me around while I raked up stuff and Baby Jay was following us. He landed on Gator's back for a ride. Gator was trying his best to dislodge the hitch hiker. He finally managed only to have Baby Jay peck at his toes.. Gator opened wide and I thought he was going to swallow Baby jay, but never once closed that big yap of his. They were playing, and Baby jay didn't seem to fear Gator in the least.

Huge copperhead was run over by a car (they backed up and run over it several times) then stopped to warn me they were out and about. They claimed it was a cotton mouth but the pattern didn't bear them out. Big even copper ovals on the back and copper head. I don't like venomous snakes at all.

They are certainly not on the endangered species list here. I've seen more rat snakes. Saw an eastern king snake and reported it, so conservancy can track their movement. Saw a black indigo the year I moved it. And that's it. Rattlesnakes keep to pine wooded areas, and I'm surrounded by hardwoods so I don't expect to see one of those any time soon.
