The Old Folks Home

Oh @CSolis avoid the Prolia like poison if you can. Once they get you on it you are pretty much s*****d.

I have been taking it for three years now and in all honesty I don't know which is worse, the side effects or a broken hip. My doctor tells me the broken hip is and if it happens it's a life changer. But I can't take the orals. They upset my stomach too much so he said I have to take SOMETHING because my osteo is too advanced.

IMHO if you can find another mode of treatment do it. Have you looked up Prolia? Medicare will pay for all but 220$ which you have to pay but read about the side effects. Trust me. Everything you read is true. I've had extreme fatigue, joint and muscle pain, weight loss, nasal congestion, sore throat and loss of voice, skin infections, bladder irritation....the list goes on and on. I begged the doctor to DC it. I respect and like my doc so I can tell him what I think about something and he will listen. He asked me if the side effects were bad enough for me to go to the ER or were they just messing with my quality of life. I had to sigh and say the latter. Truthfully, when the side effects aren't flaring, you don't know that you are taking the drug but from what I've read, it's very few that don't have side effects.

I don't blame you feeling the way you do about doctors. One you trust is worth his or her weight in gold.

Just because I look dumb, that's no sign I'm not! Told the doctor that today. Just because he went to med school (under Rockafeller guideline) to learn all about 'medicines' doesn't mean he's smart. It means he's a pimp for Big Pharma once again controlled by Rockafellers. Where's the Hippocratic oath now a day? First do no harm. I will agree our emergency medicine is great, but long term care means giving up to BP.

Well, what about that 1000 year old medical system, where the practitioners never once cut a person open to see how things work, but know what herbs and other things work to restore health. And what about doctor's in India still using Ayurvedic medicine with great success.

Those that buck the system here are quickly silenced, like Frontline doctors, Dr Malone who developed mRNA technology, Dr Sherri Tenpenny, and many more that prefer to get people back on the path to good health via eating and exercise habits. Oh yeah, that's right.. no makey money for BP. I almost called Dr H comrade today. Idiot was wearing a face mask that he knows if he did any research that unless it's a N-90 it won't do squat. I had to wear one in his clinic even though Gov DeSantis said 'No Mask Mandates in FL'

End of Rant.
