Wow! I hope you’re having blt sandwiches! Yum!

I've eaten so many tomato sandwiches. lol.. I love them. I have bacon, but haven't had the bacon on them. I had a double one day.

Good morning, OF. No porch sitting for me today - lawn to be mowed.

I mowed the lawn for the first time in years week before last. I knew it would be my last. Not sure what I was thinking. Son and daughter in law got after me. I took it. I deserved it. Man, to think I used to do that often. I looked outside. Cool morning! Cool morning didn't help me push that lawnmower.

Too wet to mow, still. Had to mow with the flail on the real tractor last week, may have to again this week. The deck on the garden tractor gets clogged with grass when it is wet and leaves lots of nasty clumps on the lawn.

When I used to mowed..I remember that.

I need to make a note of that German Johnson. I want a couple new ones to try next year. Not going to plant Cherokee Purple, Mortgage Lifter and a couple others that haven't impressed me more than once.

Last year I bought some Golden Boy plants from Home Depot. They produce medium yellow tomatoes and are an indeterminate plant. Produce early and continue setting fruit until frosted. Planted them again this year, and they are doing as well as last year.
Edited to correct the tomato variety - it's Lemon Boy - not Golden Boy.

My Beef Steak Tomatoes took their time coming on, now they're coming along, a lot.

Unusual I have not had a decent nights sleep in two weeks.

We briefly had a temp of 100° on the porch but it is down to 95°. Maybe rain is on the way. A thunderstorm this afternoon was a possibility.

Maybe they would let you mow just one strip on either side of the walk
