Regarding falls: I fell and broke my wrist 9 years ago. I still get a gut clench reaction when I feel myself slip. Hubby doesn't quite understand that.
He would if it ever happened to him. Wrist breaks may heal but the pain from putting pressure on it after it heals can go on for a couple of years.

And yes, I do have personal experience with this. I still do not push doors open with a flat palm and my break was many years ago. I could but after a couple of years of not doing it, it is a habit.

Yeah, he would, but I wouldn't want to take care of him if he did! He is a total grump when he doesn't feel well.

I know what you mean about changing how you do things, even after everything heals.

One habit that didn't stick however: Holding a fork or spoon "overhand" like a 3 year old when I eat. :lau

Good morning Old Folks taking the rooster Pete to auction today.
I use to eat my peas with honey. May make them taste funny but keeps on the knife. :frow
I've got inquires out for local auctions for poultry. I'd like to raise pullets for auction for local folks who don't have the time or facilities for raising chicks.

Not proper etiquette for dining with the Queen!!! I've held my tongue watching my now son in law hold his spoon and fork that way. I don't know why it bugs me so much but it JUST AIN'T CIVILIZED!
True! But it was easier than using my left hand. To me, it was an improvment, and a step on the road to recovery.
