He would if it ever happened to him. Wrist breaks may heal but the pain from putting pressure on it after it heals can go on for a couple of years.Regarding falls: I fell and broke my wrist 9 years ago. I still get a gut clench reaction when I feel myself slip. Hubby doesn't quite understand that.

And yes, I do have personal experience with this. I still do not push doors open with a flat palm and my break was many years ago. I could but after a couple of years of not doing it, it is a habit.
Practice eating jello with chopsticks.It's hard to hold a piece of meat with a spoon and use a knife to cut it. It's hard to eat green peas or corn with a fork and not catapult them into the next room.... Some days I could tryout for a part in a new slap happy 3 Stooges show.

True! But it was easier than using my left hand. To me, it was an improvment, and a step on the road to recovery.Not proper etiquette for dining with the Queen!!!
