Congrats, Wisher!

Stumpy, since you want a dark brown egg layer and a deep blue egg layer, you could order six eggs of each, have them shipped to me, I will incubate and brood them, and you could pick the best pullet from each group to keep!

Something to think about, ole buddy, ole pal........

Now, there's an idea.....
Now who thinks this is a perfect enabler/enablee symbiotic relationship????????????

You probably don't remember, but the bad hatches were because I had a mercury thermometer and a digital thermometer that were both exactly 4 degrees off (too low) and I was cooking my eggs too high. What are the chances that they would both be off the same amount in the same direction and both end up in the same bator? Anyway, since I bought a new one (which seems to be correct) I have had great hatches and even hatched some that were ify.

As previously mentioned on another thread, we had a discussion about roosters, must have jinxed me cause I hear a Co motion and all the chickens acting like there was a predator, a snake maybe, under the house...well I run out there, around the other side and there's the new roo, bashing one of my production layers. I tossed a few rocks at him and got him out of there, then caught him..after a body slam, he got thrown in the cage. Oh well, he has alot of nice feathers. The hen I had to crawl up as far as I could, when she finally looked at me she came out. That was just insane...I wish breeders would gear a little more toward attitude, this boy is big enough to eat so long dumb bunny. (Notice how I kept all that clean?) Wasn't thinking it though. H says he went after a chick and the broody lit into him and tore him up. Good.

Wrangler- We were just talking about that on another thread! I hate it for the old boy but I think the meaner the roo the better the stew! There are just too many good roos needing homes to put up with a booger.
