BuckaBucka - yes, I had a straight combed girl that laid green eggs. From what I'm told, though, it's only about a 5% chance that a straight combed pullet will have received the blue egg gene.
hm. I'm contemplating putting my blue ameraucana roos over my barnevelder girls (when they start laying, anyway)... anyone ever made that cross? I'm kinda wondering how the double-lacing would be passed down. I know regular lacing is passed on the X chromosome like barring, but not sure about double lacing...
