The Olive-Egger thread!

For anyone who is interested, and for those who wrote in the past and asked to be notified - my olive eggers are laying again so if you want olive eggs (of every shade - including the pink and grey) - I can gather a dozen a week. Just send me a PM. I tried keeping all the PMs of people who wanted to be notified but I had to clean out my mailbox. $20 per dozen plus $10 for shipping.

how do you get such nice picture of eggs. Took pictures of my eggs and the blue ones came out almost white the green one not better At least 2 or 3 shades light then they are...

The keys are to use no or very little flash, don't do blue eggs in direct sunlight (unless on a white surface or near white), and another thing about blue eggs - I always do them against other colors like white or green. Otherwise they will often look white or green them self.

Try photographing them in subtle but bright lighting, (such as a well lit room) but enough that your camera won't make the image blurry.
