I couldn't help myself, I snapped a few pictures with my phone through the bator, here's my newest wee one.

Quote:They're all split- so maybe if we can hatch some we'll get about 1 in 4 that are lav cuckoo. I am just wondering if you'll be able to see the barring seen as how lav is so pale. Also- the cuckoo marans I used doesn't lay a super dark egg, so we might just get EEs [IMG] The cool part is that the chicks were sex linked so I knew what I had early on.

That lav Cuckoo sounds interesting. You'll have to post some pictures of those soon [IMG]

I have got a few OE's that are Wheaten Am and Wellie Mix. I am REALLY hoping for some speckled green eggs this year, to go with the other OE's. That's the goal anyway. I've noticed a few "gray" OE eggs, and thought they were so odd (my camera can not capture an accurate depiction)...anybody else getting gray eggs from their OE's?

Oh, wow, those are adorable, Jeremy! That second pic should be your computer wallpaper!

Shelby is over 19 weeks now. She squatted when I grabbed her the other day so hopefully, her eggs will be coming soon.
