Well after trying to create Marans/EE olive eggers and having them all die on me (except one that's a roo), I've discovered that I made Olive Eggers by accident.

My Buff Brahma/EE's started laying this past week and their eggs are a pretty green/brown. Almost an army green color!

The other chicks from that hatch are Faverolle/EE's and all four of the hens look identical, but they all lay different shades of green eggs. One lays a beautiful light blue egg. One lays absolutely perfect green. One is a light army green. One is like...the perfect blend of green and blue, I want to get a paint swatch of it and paint the wall to match!

I'll take pictures of them in the sun light tomorrow. I'm loving all the greenish eggs in my basket!

This is a beautiful specimen for an Olive Egger! I hatched her from Wynette.
