Here they are .... my first hatch of Olive Eggers. Marans over my Easter Eggers ...
I could not get a descent picture at all. The solid black is hard to get, as well. I wish I could capture their cute little muffs. Anyway, here they are.

Kathy.....can you tell yet how many have pea combs and how many have straight combs? I'm planning on hatching some of my welsummer roo with my EE.

ETA: forgot to add that they are beautiful chicks!

Kathy - WOOT! On your first egg from miss pretty blue olive egg girl! It's a beautiful egg!

Lasombra - yes, your eggs are the same breeding as Kathy's were, so you should have the same color eggs in your nest boxes in about 6 months! BEST of luck with the hatch - keep us posted!

Here are the olive egger babies from Wynette's eggs: They are going to Kelly and I will get a hen back if she has any extras or sometime down the road. They are the cutest, softest chicks ever!

They are soooo darn adorable! I REALLY hope that blue is a pullet!

I think the one in the middle of the blacks might be a dark blue. It looks lighter than the 2 on the outside.

Warden, that third shot down is just awesome! Can I ask what you used for a backdrop-looks like construction paper or something similar? (assuming you are using the light-box method of photographing them) Beautiful chicks, too!
