We finally got our very first olive egg from our "accidental" Olive eggers! It's official I have 3 of these beautiful layers! their eggs look like tiny grenades and we love them. We can't wait to get more eggs. Here's the very first egg with our easter eggers blue/green egg for comparison

Those are beautiful! That's pretty much the same combo we are going to get with all of our different birds!

My hens have slowed because of fall. I just put a light on them, I have a bunch of young ones getting ready to lay.

Our other coop has slowed to 1 egg a day because of the fall as well. Our new babies are at 23 weeks and yesterday was the first egg. We're hoping for another today but with all the different breeds in the new coop (Barred rock, easter egger and olive egger) we are just waiting to see if they'll all start laying at the same time. It's like a Christmas surprise everyday to see what colour egg we'll get!

Yesterday I got 1 egg, today I got 3. no new pullet eggs though.
