My Oliver eggers are also under way! I have a cross from my Americuna hen and my Black Copper Marans roo. I will post some pictures on Monday. I would like some guesses on gender! They are all mostly black, with some brown on their necks. I am waiting to see it the combs get red faster then the others. That was a big indicator with the BCM, when he was young. Do you think that would be the case with these?
They are about a month old now, and still in the brooder. It is quite large. I guess I could put them out in the coop, with the others, and just separate them. It just would be for a long time, since they are really small compared to the others. Any thoughts? Is there any advantage to letting them see each other for a long time compared to just a week or two?
