I have 4 babies now. I think I have 2 blues, a black and then there is a chipmunk one. It doesn't look pure wellie, so it could be a 2nd generation olive egger.

Duh me, I figured out the mystery chipmunk chick. I put an egg under the broody from my EE, so it's an olive egger baby. Time will tell whether it's a 1st generation (fathered by my wellie) or a 2nd generation (fathered by my olive egger roo) olive egger.

The hatch is done. My broody hatched all 8 eggs!

I ended up with 2 blues, 2 blacks, a chipmunk olive egger (upper right) and the other 3 chipmunks are either pure welsummer or welsummer/olive egger crosses.

One of the blacks has the puffiest, fattest cheeks I've ever seen, but I couldn't get it to hold still long enough for a photoshoot. I got this blue one though.
