Very beautiful eggs. I still have no![]()
eggs from mine yet. I have one girl and boy I hatched in April from Wynette. All my other Olive Egger chicks are between 9 weeks and 12 weeks. Most of the chicks were hatched black. There are a few that have a blue color and I will keep them, I am choosing now which I should keep. Then I am going to breed those chicks to my Lavender Ameraucana rooster and the Lavender girls to the Marans Rooster. My FBCM girls are just starting to lay eggs are not that dark but will keep an eye on them. I'm still waiting for they to lay. I have yet to see the roosters cover those girls yet and they hatched in Feb. Don't know other then I think they are afraid of my very large Marans rooster.

Ok I have come to the point that my mystery chick I got back in June is a Roo. My guess is that he is a golden lace wyandotte. My question is if I put him in with my EE hens will their offspring give me olive eggs? I will post a pic of him after this thunderstorm passes if you want.
